Just stumbled across this show recently and found it to be the perfect bit of LMAO with plenty of head-banging to boot. Set your DVR's cause it's generally on late. I only wish I would have had a dvd of this for the recent Wisco weekend.

It's For John

Over the weekend I was informed that my music taste is "eclectic" and not in a good way. Couldn't I play something recognizable, please? Sure, my iPod gets a big workout every week as I churn through the latest and greatest (and some styx too) that pops up in my various playlists. But apparently I've gone off the deep end and can no longer be trusted to play familiar music. So, for my friend John I'd like to collaborate on a mix of music he will know and like. The goal will be to fill a CD-R with mp3 formated files, should be about 100 tracks maybe a bit more. Also, ideally we can avoid repeating bands (though I could be persuaded to include an artist who guested on another's track). John's boat is the most likely place he'll play this mix and a family friendly mix is a must.

I'd like to collaborate on this; put suggestions in comments and as we vet them then I'll add to the master list which I will start with the suggestions:
